All is set for the second edition of the Nigerian Media Leaders’ Summit scheduled for May 6 and 7, 2024.
A veteran journalist and former governor of Ogun State, Olusegun Osoba, will chair the summit to be held at the Academy Suites in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.
The summit, supported by the Lagos State Government, Nigeria LNG Limited, Central Bank of Nigeria, Punch Nigeria Limited, Cable Newspapers, and UAC Foods among others, will be graced by top media executives from across the country.
A statement signed by the Founder and Director of Journalism Clinic (organisers of the event), Taiwo Obe noted that the summit is endorsed by the Newspaper Proprietors’ Association of Nigeria (NPAN).
The statement added that NPAN President, Mallam Kabir Yusuf, is expected to deliver the opening remark at the conference with the theme, ‘In Pursuit of Products, Profits and More’”.
Other notable figures expected to speak at the summit include the President of Innovation Media Consulting Group, Juan Senior, and Principal Consultant, Dolapo Kuye Otegbayi Consulting, Dolapo “Dolly” Otegbayi.
Others are the CEO of Dataphyte, Joshua Olufemi; a senior lecturer at Fountain University, Dr Rasheed Adebiyi; Senior Product Manager, Stears, Damilola Ajiboye, and the founder/team lead, TOA Marketing, Ore Afolayan.
Others include Head of Legal, Ebonylife Group; Omotayo Inakoju; Creative Director, Insight Publicis, Esosa Osagiede; founder/Creative Director, XQZMOI Atunyota Akpobome, alias Ali Baba; and founder, WVL Development Advisers and former Executive Director/acting MD, Bank of Industry, Dr Waheed Olagunju.
