The Lagos State Government says it will not relent in its efforts to bring relief to vulnerable citizenry as well as maintain peaceful and harmonious relationships with all stakeholders in the State.

Special Adviser, Political, Legislative, and Civic Engagement, Dr. Afolabi Tajudeen revealed this at Alausa, Ikeja while presenting the scorecard of the Office in the past year.

The Special Adviser restated the resolve of the government to continue to initiate, formulate, and evaluate people-oriented policies that will ensure stakeholders’ cohesion as well as engagement.

On the rising cost of living, he said that the government will continue to put up social interventions aimed at reducing the stress on the citizenry.

Dr. Afolabi listed the achievements of the Ofice in the year under review to include  “Sanwo Olu Listens”, sensitization and enlightenment programs, distribution of palliative food boxes, the 18th executive/legislative parley, and Lagos CitizensGate 2.0 among others.

“Our office, as a link between the government and the governed, has kept to its vision of ensuring a peaceful environment for good governance and harmonious relationship among Lagosians. This is vital for the actualization of all-inclusive governance”, he noted.
